It had to happen. Sometime I had to interrupt the art and cartoon scene for a sport picture; my Middleton Memories blog is filled with sports. I recently came across this clipping of the Turro Bearcat baseball team. The won the provincial championship in 1946 by defeating the Middleton Cardinals. Most of these guys were household names in the heady days of my baseball-filled youth. Used a clipping so the quality of the picture won't be that great. Sunday, February 21, 2010
